Is Chakrio cheaper than eZee?
We publish our price and eZee prices by room count and module mix, so the comparison depends entirely on your configuration — which is why we do not put a number against their name here. What we can say is that Chakrio is scoped for a single small property, so for one villa the total is small. For a 30-room hotel the comparison is not meaningful, because Chakrio does not do what that hotel needs.
Does Chakrio connect to as many OTAs as eZee Centrix?
No, and not in the same way. eZee Centrix lists 130+ OTAs, GDS and vacation-rental portals with rate and inventory push. Chakrio works with any OTA that publishes an iCal feed — broad coverage, but calendar-level only. Dates sync; prices do not.
Both are Indian. Does that change anything?
It matters more than people expect. Both handle GST properly, which foreign tools generally do not. The difference is the channel: Chakrio assumes WhatsApp is where your business already happens and puts everything there, including guest confirmations and UPI payment links. eZee assumes a staffed property with someone working inside the system.
Could we start with Chakrio and move to eZee later?
Yes, and that is a sensible path. Plenty of properties grow into needing a PMS. Your booking history is yours and exportable, so starting small does not trap you. If you already know a full PMS is coming within the year, it may be less disruptive to go there directly.
